Jatki Street is located in the Northern part of the Old Town. In the 19th and 20th centuries, it was the location for stalls selling cold meat and wicker products on both sides of the street. In 1940, the Nazi authorities demolished part of the street together with the buildings. After nearly fifty years of absence on the city map, the street is enjoying a revival. Today, thanks to the restoration of its unique character, it is considered a culinary showpiece of the whole Bydgoszcz. It features, among others, a bakery to which we invite the guests of our Residence.
