History meets modernity
Sowa Residence is a unique place on the map of Bydgoszcz. The premises of the former city baths now house a hotel and service complex reviving the neighborhood of Rybi Rynek.
Historic city baths
Grodzka Street, housing the Sowa Residence, used to be called Łazienna in the Old-Polish period in reference to the city baths located in the western part of the street.
Revitalization
Historical sources indicate that they were built as early as 1549. Neglected for many years, Grodzka Street has regained its former glory owing to our revitalization works.
Modernity intertwined with history
As part of our investment we have rebuilt and extended an old tenement house at 12 Grodzka Street, located in the very center of Bydgoszcz.
STYLISH BUILDING
Considering the historic character of the building, we have mostly preserved the style of the interiors, emphasizing the details and adjusting the building to meet the needs of our guests. On the side of Kręta Street and Podwale, a new part of the building was created, connected with the renovated tenement house by a spectacular glazed patio. All elements are in perfect harmony - guests of the Sowa Residence may sense the old spirit while enjoying all the conveniences of a modern facility.
